Life at CA

Congratulations to our sixth graders on completing the DARE program today.

The 5th graders went and toured Vicksburg Military Park. They learned about the battle at Vicksburg during the Civil War. We have been studying about this in school! We had a great day!

It’s National Teach Children to Save Day. Thanks Wade Hollway and GBT for coming to talk to our students about the importance of saving.

Had a blast learning about the past! Eighth graders got to learn a lot today about the Battle of Pleasant Hill, and what life was like on the battlefield during the Civil War. Thank you students for being on top of your game. We even got a compliment or two from a couple of vendors there.

Our FCA at Claiborne Academy had the privilege to serve dinner at the Claiborne Chamber of Commerce Banquet on Monday, April 1. They were honored to speak with Dr. Ralph Abraham, US Congressman from La. 5th Congressional District.

The Junior class served lunch today at the Senior Citizen Expo at Homer City Hall. We are so proud to see our students involved in the community.
